Hydroxytyrosol is found primarily in the aqueous fraction produced after olives are milled and is present only in small amounts in extra virgin olive oil.

It is one of the phenols with the highest antioxidant capacity and is a particularly effective free radical scavenger in the plant kingdom. For this reason, a Mediterranean diet rich in olive oil—and thus in hydroxytyrosol—is considered particularly beneficial to health.

In the new Noubrain Antiox formula, hydroxytyrosol is specifically combined with vitamin C. This combination complements each other’s antioxidant effects and helps protect cells from oxidative stress, while vitamin C additionally supports the normal function of the nervous system.
